Excellence Chairs

Excellence Research Chairs for renowned scientists on long-term visiting positions are funded by CIMI, or by industrial partners (as industrial chairs) on specific topics of interest at the interface between research and industry.

These chairs are the opportunity to develop high level scientific activities, including seminars, post-doctoral courses, workshops or dissemination. Post-doctoral grants, and grants for possibly jointly supervised PhD, could be attached to the positions.

The document below aims at providing guidance on the format to be used when submitting an Excellence Research Chair application to CIMI Executive Committee. Applications may be submitted at any time of the year.
