Abstract (Demailly)

The course will review the basic positivity concepts for cohomology classes
of type (1,1) on a compact complex manifold, in relation with the geometric
properties of holomorphic vector bundles : curvature, existence of sections,
vanishing and extension theorems. These questions have important
implications for the study of the structure of compact complex manifolds,
especially projective or Kähler manifolds.
